ED-129B Compliance Test Suite

AVIONIX configured traffic scenarios for all the test cases defined in ED-129B. There is an automated test suite that runs the tests and validates the produced CAT021 output against the results expected by ED-129B. A part of the test suite is the TrafficSim2000 tool that allows starting of scenarios manually. The generated ADS-B messages are fed over a network interface into the ASTERIX generation software.

For visual validation AVIONIX provides the tool ASTERIX Inspector, which connects to a network stream and displays the decoded ASTERIX records in an table and tree view. Changed items are highlighted. The table content may be exported into CSV format for further processing. Various ASTERIX categories and versions are supported.
