ASTERIX Data Fusion

AVIONIX provides a software to do ASTERIX data fusion. The software is receiving timestamped surveillance data from in various sites in various formats. Allowed formats are raw ADS-B, CAT021, CAT048, CAT062 in various versions. The central processor maintains for each flight a state vector that is updated by the received records. The AVIONIX ASTERIX processor is producing standard compliant ASTERIX CAT021 output streams on multiple output channels in individual versions and update rates.

The AVIONIX GCMS software is used for configuration and status monitoring of the fusion process and the single data sources.

The built-in Google Earth feeder allows visualization of the animated traffic in 3D inside Google Earth®.
